Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark (2011)
So…
I was really excited for this movie cause of Guillermo Del Toro (duh). However, after seeing that its source material was from the ’70s, I can see why his usual fantastical atmosphere didn’t work quite as well for this movie as it usually does for his other ones, and that’s probably why it wasn’t as well-received as some other of his films.
THAT SAID, I still enjoyed it. This may sound extremely strange, but the little fairy creatures were kinda cute. But some evil things are cute anyway. Like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. hehehehe.
