So today, I was at the bus stop waiting for the 22 to go down El Camino to my dad’s office.
Some Filipino woman was there, and she asked me if I could spare her a dollar for some bus fare. Except not very articulately of course. See, she asked for a dollar at first, and then a dollar seventy-five.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) If you haven’t seen this one yet, you probably should. It’s rated R for good reason, but I think this is one of the few films this year that probably genuinely lives up to its hype. Then again, I haven’t seen the original Swedish version. (Luckily, a customer at the restaurant was kind enough to lend me the original Swedish DVD trilogy :) )...

So far, three people (at different points in time of course) at the restaurant have told me that I resemble Ga-in. Two meant face-eye-make-up-lookswise, and one meant in stature and personality.
