The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) If you haven’t seen this one yet, you probably should. It’s rated R for good reason, but I think this is one of the few films this year that probably genuinely lives up to its hype. Then again, I haven’t seen the original Swedish version. (Luckily, a customer at the restaurant was kind enough to lend me the original Swedish DVD trilogy :) )...

So far, three people (at different points in time of course) at the restaurant have told me that I resemble Ga-in. Two meant face-eye-make-up-lookswise, and one meant in stature and personality.

Unfortunately, I did not get to see the beautiful Gaspard Ulliel as often as I would have liked, but any scene with him in it was just that much more precious. Much of the film is focused on Mathilde’s search for Manech, and the mystery surrounding his status (is he dead or alive?) and that’s what will keep you watching....

S ince it seems to be the talk of the town nowadays. Well, that’s dying down (thankfully), but I think everyone’s still a little shocked.

The Help (2011)
OMG. I was so surprised to find out that Hilly was played by BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD!!! I love her. :) And she was soooo pretty in this movie. Actually, everyone in this movie was so pretty. And the clothes!! THE CLOTHES! WANT. Emma Stone’s hair was great too. I don’t know if the curls suited her, but I liked them anyway. :D
Aside from that, great story. The build-up was kind of slow, but...
